Today's word of Faith from FAITH FAMILY BIBLE CHURCH OJODU BERGER by Rev D.K Aboderin.

TOPIC: SUPPLY FOR EVERYDAY
"Give us day by day our daily bread." Luke 11:3
It
is God's perfect will that your needs be supplied for daily. Just as a
child would not have to beg his father to cloth him or to give him food,
so our Heavenly father would not want us to beg Him in our prayer to do
any of these things for us.
The word of God says, "but my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in Glory by Christ Jesus." Phil.4:19.
The
supply of God for you is not according to the economy of your nation or
of the world, but according to His riches in Glory in Christ Jesus.
The
riches of God can not be affected by any inflation or recession. It is
from His resources He supplies for your needs. "For the Lord your God
brings you into a good land,...a land, in which you shall eat bread
without want. You shall not lack anything in it. It is a land whose
stones are iron, and out of whose hills you may dig copper." Deut.8:7,9.
The land the Lord has brought you into is in Christ; every believer
has come into that land. It is not when you die and go to heaven that
God is referring to. God is talking about now.
In Christ Jesus we have all that makes life worth living.
Religion
postpones everything to heaven. NO! God is in the now. Faith is in the
now! You will have no need of food or money in heaven. You need that
here on earth and God says He will supply for them.
In other to make
your prayers effective in the area of God supplying for your need,
there are things God expect you to do. Before Paul prayed that God will
supply for all the needs of the church at Philippi, there were things
they did that provoked that prayer: "Now you Philippians know also that
in the beginning of the Gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no
church communicated with me as regards giving and receiving except you
alone." Phil.4:15. Note that Paul says as regards giving and receiving.
He added that the things the sent had "an odour of sweet smell, a
sacrifice acceptable and well-pleasing to God." Verse 18.
Our giving
into God's work is well-pleasing to him and in the next verse, Paul now
said "and my God shall supply for all of your needs according to His
riches in glory".
When you fulfill your part of honoring God with your substance in tithes and offerings, God is committed to you.
Prayer for finance is not effective when you're not faithful to God in your giving.
God's absolute will is for you to prosper and have your needs met up with.
In fact, instead of God adding to you, the devil will steal from you if you are not faithful.
But
if you're faithful, you can boldly rebuke the devil and he will remove
his hands from your finances if he had been tampering with it.
The bible says, "O fear the Lord, ye His saints: for there is no want to them that fear Him.
The
young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD
shall not want any good thing. "Ps.34:9,10. It says there is no want to
them that fear him. When you fear the Lord you will walk in obedience to
His word. Also, it says there is no want to those that seek Him.
Seeking God's face in prayer can destroy lack in your life. God bless
you.
