TOPIC: ESTABLISHING GOD'S WILL.
"Your will be done, as in heaven, so also on the earth." LUKE 11:2.
God wants you to have heaven on the earth. Sickness, disease, oppression, depression, sin, poverty, and the like, none of this is in heaven, they are all from the pit of hell. This was why Jesus came, "for this purpose, the son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil." 1John 3:8(KJV).
Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil. As a child of God, you will have to resist all the evil works of the devil in your life and the life of your loved ones in prayer.
You have to destroy every operation of the enemy over your life. The same method that Jesus used in conquering the devil is the same method God has given to the Church.
"It is written" is a very powerful weapon against the devil. If you do not learn to use "it is written" you can be written off by the enemy.
It looks so simple, but, it is highly potent and effective.
"For thou walking about in flesh, we do not war according to flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not fleshy, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, pulling down high thing that exalt itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought into the obedience of Christ". 2 Cor. 10:3-5.
The Bible says here that even though you are walking in the flesh but you cannot flight the devil with physical weapons or with physical methods.
He is a spirit and you will have to fight him with spiritual weapons.
No one ca successfully win against a demon that is blind, without feet and hands with physical weapons because he is a spirit. I heard the story of some people praying and drew the 'devil' on the flour and started stabbing him.
That was nonsense and deception of the devil. It was a complete waste of time. Though our weapons are not visible, they are real and very powerful. You have to be conversant with the word of God and use it in prayer and warfare against the devil. God has also given the name of Jesus to the Church with which we can make a demand of anything from Him and He will answer us.
Jesus says some signs will follow those that believe -that in His name, they will cast out demons, they will lay hands on the sick and they will be well. There is power in the name of Jesus, in the blood of Jesus and in the word of God.
On top of this is the Holy Spirit that the Lord has given us to enhance our prayer lives. Begin to use what you have. Let God's will be established on the earth through your effective prayer life.
What the devil dreads most is a child of God who occupies his rightful position of authority in Christ Jesus.
Enough is enough of the enemy overpowering you. Chase him out of your life and your loved ones.
Say, though I walk in the flesh, I do not war after the flesh, for the weapons of my warfare are no carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds and casting down imaginations, bringing every thought to the obedience of Christ.
