11|11|12. THE POWER OF AGREEMENT by Rev D.K Aboderin of FAITH FAMILY BIBLE CHURCH OJODU BERGER.

Today's word of Faith from FAITH FAMILY BIBLE CHURCH by Rev D.K Aboderin.

11|11|12.

TOPIC: THE POWER OF AGREEMENT.

“Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 18:19

“Agree” in the statement above comes from the Greek word ‘sumphoneo’ from which the word “symphony” was derived. It means to be harmonious, to be in accord. When things are not working out the way you expect, or there seems to be a delay, you need somebody who can stand in faith together with you to bring it to come to pass.

God stands by His Word; He says here that, “If two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.” This does work, but you have to be sure the person standing with you in agreement is in faith. If not, your agreement will not work.  In other words, if you are in faith and the other person is in doubt, then you are not in agreement.

If you have no one to agree with, agree on God’s Word on the area of your need and He will bring it to pass. God has promised in His Word to bless you and the work of your hands. “The Lord shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.” Deut. 28:8
Business Deals
God wouldn’t want you to be foolish in your business transactions. Have things written out in black and white, particularly when you are going into partnership or when another party is involved. Let each party append his or her signature to whatever you agree upon. Don’t be too spiritual to neglect this.

Beloved, it doesn’t really matter whom you are doing business with. When money comes into any matter, the language automatically changes. But when it is already written down, the opportunity to change words can be nullified and the devil will be put to shame.

21|10|12. WINNING IS GOD'S WILL by Rev D.K Aboderin of FAITH FAMILY BIBLE CHURCH OJODU BERGER.

Today's word of Faith from FAITH FAMILY BIBLE CHURCH by Rev D.K Aboderin.

21|10|12

TOPIC: WINNING IS GOD'S WILL.

In order to be an achiever. In order to be whom God purpose of you in life. In order to live life in its fullness, you must know what is the will of God for you. It's been a lot of argument amongst many believer whether it's God's will to live in sickness or health. Whether it's God's will to experience prosperity or poverty. Whether it is His will to fail or win in life. What we make out of life as believers is fully attached to knowing what the will of God is.

John chapter 15 verse 7 says "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you." the old King James version "ye shall ask what you will." the will of God is His word. It is clear from this reference that you can have your desire fulfilled in prayer when you do two things: 1. Abide in Christ; 2. Have His Word abide in you.

"And behold, a leper came and worshipped Him, saying, "Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean," then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, "I am willing; be cleansed," Immediately his leprosy was cleansed." Matthew 8:2, 3. A leper came to Jesus and was in doubt whether it was God's will for him to stay in that deadly disease or to be free of it and Jesus said it was His will to heal him and totally set him free of it. He touched him and he was immediately cleansed.

God's will for you is health. God's will for you is prosperity. God's will for you is winning in life. His will is success and victory. the devil has stolen a lot out of the church through ignorance but all that he has stolen the Lord is restoring to the church. The more the Church knows the better she is. The devil knows this and he wants to perpetually keep you ignorant of your rightful position in Christ Jesus. It’s time you say no to the devil in all his tricks on you and say yes to God’s Word.
The devil has no new weapon or trick he is using against mankind. He has always been using ignorance, "has God said." That is the word he used to steal dominion from Adam and Eve. He tried that as well on Jesus," if you be the son of God" meaning to disown Him of His sonship. He is simply telling Jesus to do something to prove He is sure is God's son. This is simply is to make Him doubt His sonship and nullify His purpose of coming to the earth.

How often he has come to you to ask if you are truly born again. Or "if truly you are born again, why then are you not feeling like it?" Your salvation is by faith and not by sight. 2Corinthians 5 verse 7 says "for we walk by faith, not by sight." If you want to feel before you can believe that you have received you will never have it.

"Now Thomas, called the Twin, one of the twelve, was not with them when Jesus came. The other disciples therefore said to him, "we have seen the lord." So he said to them, "Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails and put my hand on His side, I will not believe. And after eight days His disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them. Jesus came, and doors being shut, and stood in the midst and said "Peace to you" Then He said to Thomas, "Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side, Do not be unbelieving but believing." And Thomas answered and said to Him, "My Lord and my God!" Jesus said to him, Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed, Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed." John 20:24-29.
When Thomas saw he believed, the Lord Jesus said to him, "blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed." Your sight will fail you. Your sight will tell you why it is not possible. When your focus is on the Word you know it God and God alone that can do it and He will do it.

Your winning in life is attached to knowing what the will of God is. You have got to know what God's word says for every aspect of your life. What God's word says concerning your home, your job, your business, your finance, your health. What will keep you standing in the time of adversity is the amount of God's word that you know and that you do. Jesus says, "And you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free." John 8:32. Know is ginosko in Greek, meaning to perceive, understand, recognize, gain knowledge, realize, come to know. It is the knowledge that you have that has an inception, a progress, and an attainment. It is what you know in life that gives you an edge over your competitors in your field of operation.

When you know, you will do and it is the doing that leads into freedom from whatever situation the truth is applied to. We see in the book of Revelation reverence to He that overcomes" several times. God is not interested in your loosing but your winning. “For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world - our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the son of God?" I John 5:4.

This reference is clearly making us to see that if you are born again you are an overcomer. It goes as far as saying " Whatever" meaning anything which means if my writing pen is born of God it will overcome. This is to say trying situation and circumstances will come our way but by our faith we shall overcome them.

"Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us." Romans 8:37. The word "more than conquerors" describes one who is super victorious, who wins more than an ordinary victory, but who is overpowering in achieving abundant victory. That is what God desires of you.

04|11|12. EMPOWERMENT THROUGH PRAYER by Rev D.K Aboderin of FAITH FAMILY BIBLE CHURCH OJODU BERGER.

Today's word of Faith from FAITH FAMILY BIBLE CHURCH OJODU BERGER by Rev D.K Aboderin.

TOPIC: EMPOWERMENT THROUGH PRAYER

“And it happened as He was praying in a certain place, when He ceased, one of his disciples said to Him, Lord teach us to pray, as John also taught His disciples.” Luke 11:1
Do take note that, in this passage, Jesus spent sometime to pray. We do not know how long he spent but I guess it would not have been less than an hour. It is clear from this verse that the disciples were waiting for Him. They probably wondered what He could have been saying for such a long time in prayer. The Holy Spirit is in our lives for this reason- to help us in prayer.
Jesus lived like any other man on the earth. The Bible makes us to understand that He left His glory in heaven and began to dwell among us. If He lived like God on earth with all His power, He did not need to pray. Whom will God pray to? Jesus left all His glory in heaven and began to dwell among us like any other person.
If He had lived like God on earth He would nor have been hungry because God cannot be hungry.  Thirst would not even have been a problem to him because God cannot be thirsty. He couldn’t have been weary, needing rest for a while.
But He passed through all you will pass through so He would be able to bear with the feeling of your infirmities. “For we do not have a high priest who cannot be touched with the feelings of our infirmities, but was in all points tempted just as we are, yet without sin.” Heb.4: 15. He knows what you are going through because He has gone through it all.  The Bible says He was at all points tempted but without sin. Temptation is no sin but falling into it is sin.
If Jesus could pray then you and I must pray. Jesus is simply showing us we cannot get much out of life without prayer. Our power source is prayer. We read from the Bible various times He spent in prayer. Let’s have a look at some:
And rising up quite early in the night, He went away to a deserted place, and He was praying there. Mark 1:35. Here we can see Him rising up early in the morning, before anyone, to pray.
“And taking leave of them, He went away to the mountains to pray.” Mark 6:46. Here He withdrew Himself from distractions to pray. There are times you are to be alone with God. It may be for a day or more depending on the need for the time. If you want to experience God’s power in your life you will need a time like this regularly possibly once a month or every other month.
“But the word about him spread even more. And great crowds were coming to hear, and to be healed from their infirmities by him. But He was drawing back in the wilderness, and praying.” Luke 5:15,16. Here He did not allow being too busy on His job to hinder Him from praying, which is the excuse of many today. Don’t get so busy that you don’t have time to pray. His fame went around and people were drawn to Him. One the keys to church growth is intense prayer. It is also key to your success in your personal endeavours.
Also we noticed that Jesus spent all-night in prayer. “And it happened in those days that He went out into a mountain to pray, and He was spending the night in prayer to God.” Luke 6:12.
Jesus was a man of prayer. He showed an example to follow.  That means that if He couldn’t do without prayer, we will not be able to do without it as well. We need time to pray and seek the face of God on a daily basis.
